A travel support to a limited number of students will be offered by:
- Conference sponsors
- U.S. National Science Foundation (limited to U.S. students)
- Microsoft Research
- UMAP organization

- May 1, 2013 – Acceptance notification (due to the large number of applications received, delays in notification are possible; 9 May update: the review process will end and notifications sent in a few days)
HOW TO APPLY
To apply for Student Travel Support, send an email to email@example.com enclosing:
- The application form, properly filled;
- A scanned copy of an official letter (in English) from your University or School, properly signed and stamped, indicating your current student status. You will then present this letter when registering at the Conference.
All applications received by April 24, 2013 will be reviewed. A notification will be sent out via email with the approval of the travel support and the funds budgeted.
Procedure for reimbursements
Details of the procedure will be sent out via email. Some of the sponsors require acceptable proofs of purchase include an itemized register receipt, a credit card receipt, documentation of payment transactions, or a canceled check.
