DUNE is a Small-Medium Enterprise operating since 1980  in aerospace, industrial control and telecommunication.  Throughout our 30-year history, we have worked with several leading Italian Companies, International Academic Partners and  Research Agencies  to carry out industrial and research Projects.
Application-ready and dedicated solutions are provided as well as the capability to seek innovative solutions in system analysis, SW and HW life-cycle and research project management. This enables customers to minimize program risks, reduce development costs and accelerate time to deployment and time-to-market.
DUNE  is currently operating in analysis of real-time systems, communication research projects, design and development of real-time SW and HW, algorithm, simulation, optimization and multi-core architectures.

Consorzio Roma Ricerche (CRR), created in Rome (Italy) in 1986 as a nonprofit organization formed by private and public entities, is specialized in innovation technology transfer. CRR mission is to encourage and facilitate the exchange and collaboration between the world of research and the industry. Starting from fostering and supporting collaborative actions among its members, Consorzio Roma Ricerche promotes the transfer of knowledge and technology to those enterprises that aim to improve their competiveness. In 2011 CRR has opened  CRRLab,  a laboratory on RFID/Wireless which core activity is the development of RFID/Wireless solutions in complex real environment.

The Centre for Research (CERI) shall promote, co-ordinate and implement research on Geological Risks (landslides, floods, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions) and rehabilitation of polluted sites and shall also develop and test innovative methodologies. To achieve its mission the Centre shall carry out numerous activities, including:

•Experimental (lab and field) and theoretical research for analysing landslide, flood, pollution and seismic hazards and risks;

•Experimental and theoretical research for analysing with a view to developing systems for monitoring natural events associated with hydrogeological and seismic risks and related early warning/alarm systems for civil defence;

•Development of information technology methodologies for building thematic maps;

•Consulting services through contracts/agreements in accordance with the University Rules.

CRSA (Centro Ricerche Speleo Archeologiche) studies man-made underground spaces and provides professional support for the exploration, documentation, and preservation of these spaces and sites. The association has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with several local and regional archaeological superintendencies and other organizations. We collaborate with Italian and foreign universities and archaeological institutes.CRSA organizes courses in speleo-archaeology with specifically developed didactics that provide people with the basic knowledge and skills that enable them to participate in the exploration and research of underground spaces and to increase their knowledge and abilities in the field.

The Engineering Department (DING – Dipartimento di INGegneria) was founded in January 2013. It’s born with a plan to combine and enhance the skills of the Technology Sector present at the University, bringing together the teachers, the various departments of Engineering of University of Roma3. The mission of DING is promotion and developments of research activities in Industrial, Information and Civil Engineering. DING always promoted technology transfer initiatives, through collaboration with local enterprises and the creation of spin-offs.
