The first edition of this workshop is held in honor of the scientific achievements of Giuseppe "Pino" Di Battista in the occasion of his 60th Birthday.
Pino is one of the founders of the flagship conference of the Graph Drawing community and a pioneer of the field. More about him can be found in his biosketch (available here). Moreover, Pino is the academic father and grandfather of several of this year's participants.
