1999-2000- Professor of Prophylaxis And therapy of Trasmitted Diseaes After Transfusion Therapy, School of Haematology. 1995-1996- Associate professor of Clinical Methodology. Acting Professor of Clinical Methodology, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Rome. 1994-95- Associate Professor of Medical Pathophysiology at the Università La Sapienza Roma. Degree in Clinical Hematology and Laboratory, 70/70 cum laude. November 1976: enter the specialization school of clinical Hematology and laboratory (first of Applicants). SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY

Dr. Ceccanti has published about 283 scientific relations on national and international journals and conferences, participated to 75 congresses as speaker, and wrote about 30 books. Experience in Clinical Trials in accordance with rules of good clinical practice. Principal Investigator on Study of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Principal investigator on multinational, multicentre, double-blind, double-dummy evaluation of the efficacy of GHB versus benzodiazepine in the acute alcohol detoxification (GATE 1) and multinational, multicentre, double-blind, placebo-controlled evaluation of the efficacy of GHB in the long-term maintenance of the abstinence in alcoholic patients after the initial weaning phase, stratified by Lesch’s taxonomy (GATE 2) Principal Investigator on multinational, multicentre study on Timosina with Good Clinical Practices.
