----------------------------------------------------------------------------- AVVISO DI SEMINARIO ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beniamino Di Martino Seconda Universita' di Napoli ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Semantic based Discovery and Management of Content, Services and Software ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Martedi' 23 marzo 2010 Ore 14:30 Sala riunioni del Dipartimento di Informatica e Automazione Universita' Roma Tre Via Vasca Navale, 79 primo piano ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABSTRACT In this talk a methodology and a set of techniques are presented for semantic based discovery and management of digital contents, Web Services, Software artifacts, and mobile devices. In particular, a technique is presented for semantic based Information Retrieval of semantically annotated documents and web sites, based on natural language query processing at syntactical level, from which semantic patterns are heuristically determined, and are matched (using graph based matching algorithms) against domain ontologies, in order to extract an ontology based representation of the user query. A technique is presented to Semantic web service discovery based on Structural Ontology matching, and on Ontology based description of Algorithmic patterns describing implementations of Software artifacts. A technique for collaborative, ontology-based annotations of multimedia documents is also described. Finally a technique to automatically derive domain ontologies from document corpora based on hierarchical clustering is devised.
