License Terms and Availability

The LEDA research version can be used free of charge for academic research and teaching. However, it is not in the public domain and its use requires a research license which is distributed by the Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik in Saarbrücken. Please visit the LEDA homepage

and go to the Download section for downloading LEDA and for information on how to obtain a research license.



Any commercial use of LEDA requires a commercial license which is distributed by the LEDA Software GmbH, Postfach 151101, 66041 Saarbrücken, (fax: +49 681 842502, email: ledacom@mpi-sb.mpg.de)

Any use by a company, government institution, or any other
non-academic institution is considered to be commercial use.
It is not allowed to use or distribute any code being part of or based on
the research version of LEDA commercially.
