Chiara Foglietta received the Master degree (cum laude) in Automation and Management Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Automation from University "Roma Tre", Italy, in 2009 and 2013, respectively.

She is currently a not-tenured assistant professor at Engineering Dept., University "Roma Tre". She teaches “Industrial Control Systems” in Italian at University “Roma Tre”.

Her research interests are in the field of control of smart power systems, hierarchical state estimators for smart grids, and information fusion algorithms, especially Evidence Theory. She has been also involved in several EU projects.

My Research Experience

  • University of Roma Tre, IT

    Not-Tenured Assistant Professor 2017-Today

    Organization: Department of Engineering
    Starting Date: March 2017
Italian: Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato Tipo A

  • University of Roma Tre, IT

    PostDoctoral Fellowship 2013-2017

    Organization: Department of Engineering
Laboratory: Model for Critical Infrastructure Protection (MCIP)
Activities: The research program included risk analysis and data fusion techniques in the field of cyber threats for Industrial Control Systems. This study was implemented in a hybrid testbed for power grid case study, involving also a general-purpose telecommunication network.
