How many ways are there to describe a computer network? Maybe one...

Detailed Information - Per-vendor Comparison

This page illustrates how Cisco, Juniper, and Zebra differ on the configuration of various aspects on their routers. For each vendor, we provide an Entity-Relationship diagram which illustrates how the configuration is performed, by taking into account the device specific commands. The comparison can be obtained by overlapping the Entity-Relationship diagrams, two by two, and then finally overlapping them all. As a result of the comparison, we also provide an Entity-Relationship diagram which allows to configure BGP on a router, no matter who the producer is. To simplify the work, we have divided the diagrams into various parts: RIP configuration, BGP configuration, Policy/Route Map configuration, List configuration.

Colors used inside the diagrams match those used in row headings.
