[GDNET] Algorithms: Special Issue on "Graph Drawing and Experimental Algorithms"

Dear Graph Drawers and Network Visualizers,

    This email is to encourage you to submit to the special issue 
dedicated to "Graph Drawing and Experimental Algorithms" of the journal 
Algorithms (ISSN 1999-4893). You can find the call for papers here:

    Algorithms (http://www.mdpi.com/journal/algorithms/) is a Swiss 
open-access journal with high visibility and rapid publication. 
Electronic copies are archived and distributed by the Swiss National 
Library and the journal is indexed by scopus, DBLP, etc. Although the 
journal is rather young, it is steadily increasing in the rankings (see, 
for example, the SCImago Journal Rank indicator here 
http://www.scimagojr.com/journalsearch.php?q=21100199795&tip=sid&clean=0).

    The deadline for submission to the special issue on "Graph Drawing 
and Experimental Algorithms" is July 31, 2015. Expected publication 
date, after peer review, is December 2015.

    Although the publishing fees of Algorithms are very low (300 Swiss 
Francs, about 315 USD), I negotiated with the Managing Editor and 
obtained that all the recipients of this email will be allowed to 
publish free of charge, provided that they will notify me ahead of time 
their intention to submit.
